Very good coffee ☕
With the unfiltered full beer from the house brewery on Lake Ammersee. A delight that makes the heart of the beer enthusiast beat faster: The tasty blonde with 5% alcohol has a wonderfully malty taste, with three different types of malt. The pure aroma hops from Saarland ensure harmonious mildness. In the shapely men's handbag right now 😷 also to take away 🍺
A very nice, pourable PLACE, very friendly people and a special coffee to go at the moment. I can recommend him at any time.
Drank espresso and bought a sack of beans because it was delicious and was on the house. I would love to come back there is food to go ...
Went here today, the service was disastrous. The middle-aged man was very rude. They were completely overwhelmed today and he let out his breath on us. If I want to go out to eat, I don't want to be bullied so rude. Got up straight away and left. That will not do! At the fisherman next door they are very friendly to all guests. Then went there and although it was just as stressful there, everyone was still very polite and courteous. Alte Brauerei Stegen: it's a shame that your staff drives away the guests.
At the Corona time (2020): unfortunately there were no more places available inside due to the Corona hygiene rules. Fortunately, the weather outside was okay. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our food and the taste wasn't like it was on my last visit (2010).
Outstanding food, great service, nice ambience. You could taste that everything is homemade, really great!
Great inn embedded in the venerable coat of the old Stegen brewery. The mega delicious food is served very decoratively and if there is a dark one from Maisach next to it, you feel like in the "Heaven of Bavaria"
Great service, good food and beer :). The beautiful modern cult restaurant
Price performance fits. Delicious. Nice personel.
The food is delicious, the homemade spaetzle are a hit, prices for the Ammerseeregion are OK
Very nice vaulted atmosphere and really delicious food! Highly recommended!
August 2020 Very nice beer garden, friendly, brisk service. Food and drink perfect. Highly recommended
Beer was great. Paying took forever. So really.
Maybe the best beer I ever drank: Festbier. Also the Zwetschgenstrudl was otherworldly. Very nice interior, typical traditional German brauhaus style.
a bit quieter than right on the lake, okay, nice building, interesting interior (brewing kettle) own 🍺
Nice place enjoyed on a sunny Saturday late afternoon, delicious food (salad creation with fruit and goat cheese), mega delicious, served by the very friendly and customer-oriented Gabriela. Highly recommended. Thank you very much!!!
Very nice brewing cellar with good Bavarian cuisine at a fair price. Everything looks very tasty. Friendly service and a wonderful beer garden. Great location right on the Ammersee and if you need some variety then go to the cinema there.
Good location. Good food, good home brewed beer. There is also movie theater in castle.
The economy is not directly on the shores of the lake, but you can see it from the terrace. The dining room is typically furnished for an old brewery and is very appealing. Our dishes were served quickly and were really delicious. The service was friendly and attentive.
Menu on the internet does not match the menu in house, portion sizes are rather small, but the food quality is good and the self brewed beer excellent. Prices are a little above average, but that's normal for this area. I'll come again.
Nice location, the garden is nice in good weather. The beer is excellent, and the food is also very teasty.
Traditional Bavarian private event location in a top location. Beautifully restored in the style of a local brewery. Great for large birthday celebrations. Clean, friendly, and authentic.
Aesthetically is a beautiful palace with a stack of photo shoot. Inside it is spacious but not so distinctive. It has a beautiful garden where you can eat and drink while enjoying a beautiful view, if it weren't that it is infested with millions of mosquitoes. Menu 'by bizarre juxtapositions, maybe the taste in the end is not successful but surely we should praise the imagination (' carpaccio prezel ... '), and to be a German restaurant has many vegetarian choices, beer produced from them. Too bad the mosquitoes that made me go all awry. Quick starters service, very slow main courses. Cold staff but they are German. Prices slightly more expensive than the average I am used to find in Bavaria, but nothing tragic.
A must visit location on the Ammersee. Outstanding food from farm raised animals. Good beer, service and history.
Alte Brauerei Stegen - tavern, beer garden, brewery - reopened on May 5, 2018. The owner has hired a new host. The team is very friendly. The menu is extensive - everyone will find something there. The style is Bavarian. It is also brewed in-house again. Could be another culinary highlight in Stegen. There is a very good selection of delicious aperitifs, starters, salads, main dishes, also for the small hunger, snacks, desserts, beers, wines, etc.
